Fruit Vinegar

Incidentally, fruit, especially strawberries and other berries can make a delicious vinegar just by covering the fruit with vinegar and leaving it to stand for 2 weeks and then straining and bottling the liquid.

Fruit vinegars are best made when you have plenty of soft fruit and berries so that the minerals and the vitamins are preserved for use, especially during the cold dark winter.

In winter, you are going to take 1 teaspoon in a cup of water or according to your taste. Fruit vinegar is cleansing and sharpening especially when you take it first thing in the morning. This is your wake-up tonic for your whole system, and to prevent or ease colds, coughs, and fevers. Also, iced fruit vinegar is excellent and cooling, especially when you are using it on a hot summer day.
